ECR EGTC Conference 2025 “Stronger Together”

The Hague, Netherlands • 26–27 November 2025

On behalf of the General Assembly of the Euro Contrôle Route European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (ECR EGTC), composed of the member states Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Romania, the Presidency announces the upcoming ECR EGTC Conference 2025.

The conference will take place in the Louwman Museum in The Hague on 27 November 2025, under the theme “Stronger Together.” It will bring together enforcement authorities, policymakers, and partners from across Europe to discuss developments in transport inspection, compliance, and road safety, and to strengthen cooperation between member states.

About ECR EGTC

ECR EGTC was established on 12 February 2024, with its headquarters in Rijswijk, the Netherlands. The organisation originates from the Benelux initiative of 1994, which expanded over the following decades as new members joined. Its mission is to harmonise transport regulations, improve road safety, ensure fair competition, and enhance working conditions in the transport sector. Today, ECR EGTC unites enforcement services from Germany, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Croatia, and Poland.

Conference Programme – 27 November 2025

The conference will feature:

  • Discussions on developments in transport inspection, compliance, and enforcement
  • Exchanges of best practices and lessons from cross-border cooperation
  • Presentations from experts on road safety, sustainability, and fair competition
  • Opportunities for dialogue between European institutions, enforcement authorities, and stakeholders

Evening Programme – 26 November 2025

To mark the start of the conference, participants are invited to an evening networking event on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, at the Louwman Museum.
The evening will include a self-guided museum tour, followed by a network dinner in a collegial atmosphere, offering participants the opportunity to reconnect, build partnerships, and exchange experiences ahead of the conference day.
